The North Judson-San Pierre School Board heard a project update during their meeting last week.
Superintendent Dr. Annette Zupin announced the new elementary gym floor has been constructed. Dr. Zupin added the floor will need to sit for three weeks before it can be used. After that time, the gym will be available for use.
The new roof at the Elementary School is almost complete. Dr. Zupin said the roof is awaiting some sheet metal and some finishing touches.
The overall project includes the construction of a new gym with an opportunity to use the old gym as a way to expand the cafeteria, include a multi-purpose room, collaboration room, conference room, and a faculty dining/meeting room. With that includes the relocation of playground equipment and the renovation of the Elementary School as a whole.
