The Starke County Commissioners approved the 2023 insurance renewal for government employees.
First Source Insurance representatives presented the commissioners with the proposed updated rates. It was announced vision and dental rates will remain the same while life and disability rates will increase $27.00 more per month than in 2022.
The board discussed briefly how rates have gone up every year. A motion was made to approve the 2023 insurance renewal. The motion was seconded and passed unanimously.
