The North Judson Town Council approved additional appropriations during their meeting Monday.
In a previous meeting, North Judson Clerk-Treasurer Andrew Rowe said this is a normal part of the process when it comes to needing to appropriate additional funds.
On Monday, Rowe stated the total needed for the General Fund is $36,000. The MVH Fund will need $60,000 and $25,000 will need to be placed within the Edit Fund.
Rowe said a lot of these additional appropriations have to deal with the unexpected rise in insurance costs, fuel costs and an extra vehicle cost that is not within the original budget.
A motion was made to approve the additional appropriations. The motion was seconded and passed unanimously by voted. The additional funds needed were appropriated.
