The Oregon-Davis School Board discussed the distribution of Teacher Appreciation Grants during their meeting this week.
Oregon-Davis Superintendent Bill Bennett announced they have 27 staff members who were eligible to receive a stipend due to them being rated effective or highly effective. He added $18,000 will come from the state to go toward the stipend.
Guidelines specify that highly effective teachers receive a percentage higher than teachers rated effective.
The board approved Teacher Appreciation Grants as presented unanimously.
