The Pulaski County Council approved additional appropriations during their meeting Monday.
Council President Ken Boswell announced the need to add an appropriation of $40,000 for unexpected electric, gas and water expenses rising. He added the council had been made aware of the issue in the previous month’s meeting. He said the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department was also needing an additional appropriation of $25,000 for inmate meal expenses.
Boswell entertained a motion to approve the $40,000 and $25,000.
A motion was made and seconded as the council passed the additional appropriations unanimously.
