The Winamac Town Council has switched the town employees health insurance plan to a new company.
Winamac Town Manager Brad Zellers told WKVI News, Beacon Group is now the town’s new health insurance provider. With this change, Zellers said the town saw a decrease of 4.41 percent saving Winamac $8,000.
The council unanimously approved the town’s health insurance coverage for 2023.
