The Hamlet Town Council members reorganized during their meeting Wednesday.
Dave Kesvormas was retained as the Council President. Brian Earnest was named Vice President. Other department head appointments include Clint Norem as Town Marshal, Kevin Leinbach as Street Superintendent, Jason Cox as Water Operator, and Jason Clemons as Wastewater Operator.
Council member Connie Bailey was appointed to the K-IRPC Board and Brian Earnest to the Starke County Economic Development Foundation. The council is also in the process of filling the position of town attorney. President Kesvormas stated they are currently in talks with someone to fill the vacancy. It is expected they will have more information regarding this during their next meeting on January 25.
