The North Judson-San Pierre School Board recognized four students during their meeting last week for being named Rising Stars of Indiana.

Rising Stars of Indiana is a non-competitive recognition program, designed to honor high school juniors for their academic achievement. By allowing schools to identify outstanding scholars during their Junior year, the hope is to increase their visibility and scholarship opportunities. Each Indiana high school can recognize up to four individual students.

North Judson-San Pierre Jr-Sr High School nominated four members of the North Judson-San Pierre class of 2024. The students named were Damien Frasure, Connor Benson, Kaylee Jackson and Emma Baxter.

These four students were the top four in class rank at the end of their sophomore year. All four students are committed to their education and are heavily involved in a multitude of extra-curricular, co-curricular and interscholastic athletic activities at North Judson-San Pierre

Additionally, all four students are also actively enrolled and excelling in Advanced Placement courses, Dual Credit courses, Honors courses, and Career & Technical Education programs. The four students are on track to earn Academic Honors or a Technical Honors diploma upon graduation.
