The North Judson Town Council discussed the Opioid Settlement Fund during their meeting last week.
North Judson Clerk-Treasurer Andrew Rowe announced the unrestricted Opioid Settlement Fund stems from a national settlement fund relating to opioid prescription and addiction. The town of North Judson’s fund is being set up to distribute monies received from the settlement.
A motion was made to establish the Opioid Settlement Fund. The motion was seconded and passed unanimously.
