The Oregon-Davis School Board discussed the 2023 Fiscal Goals during their meeting last week.
Superintendent Bill Bennett told WKVI News the board approved the fiscal goals for this year. He said they are centered around making sure as much of the school’s education dollars go toward student improvement and learning. He said they will try to cut costs on operating expenses, utilities and other areas the corporation can cut back to be as conservative as possible.
The board also approved legal counsel for the year. Superintendent Bennett said the board went with the same legal counsel they used last year, Newby Lewis Kaminski & Jones. Bennett said Mr. Bill Kaminski is the lead lawyer for the corporation.
