The Zeta Eta chapter of Tri Kappa presented a check to the Henry F Schricker Public Library in Knox.
Tri Kappa representative Jenny Landrum presented the donation in support of the Children’s Department Big Summer Reading Kick Off. Scheduled for summer of 2023, the library is planning a special, family friendly event that children and adults of all ages will enjoy.
Tri Kappa is a philanthropic group of nearly 8,000 members. Tri Kappa is only located within the State of Indiana and supports a variety of Indiana projects for charity, culture, and education. The mission of Tri Kappa is “Bringing women into close, unselfish relationship for the promotion of charity, culture and education.” The members meet monthly to plan fundraising events that take place throughout the year which fund the philanthropic efforts.
