Earlier this month, Doral Renewables announced its pledge to support the West Central School Corporation with a large donation.
The company donated $15,000 to fund various student-focused programming and local initiatives. The gesture comes as Doral Renewables looks to deepen its partnership with local communities and build positive community relationships in the future home of its Mammoth Solar project.
Mammoth Solar is a 13,000-acre solar project that is estimated to bring $1.5 billion of investment and 1.3 gigawatts of clean energy to the region. When its three phases are complete, it is said it will be the largest solar energy project in the country.
