The Knox Board of Works opened bids for the Community Crossings Matching Grant project during their meeting Wednesday.
Each year the city of Knox applies for a the grant. Once awarded, the grant enables cities to choose streets within their community that need updated. The list of streets under consideration were not announced.
The total bid from Rieth-Riley came in at $330,939.90. The next bid read was from Milestone Contractors North out of South Bend in the amount of $391,971.16. The last bid was from E&B Paving in the amount of $332,325.40.
The board took the bids under advisement and plan to make their decision at a future meeting.
