Public comments will be taken this evening concerning the extension of the Erie Trail, hosted by the Prairie Trails Club, Inc.
The comments will be used to seek an Indiana Trails Program Grant from the Indiana Department of Natural Resources to assist with the extension of the trail northwest from its current trailhead on Main Street through the Town of North Judson to near the junction of English Lake Road, County Road 500 South, and County Road 450 West.
The public hearing will begin at 5:30 p.m. CT at the North Judson Town Hall at 310 Lane Street.
That public hearing will be followed by the regular meeting of the North Judson Town Council.
The North Judson Town Council plan to go over the annual financial report during their meeting tonight.
A year-end appropriations transfer is also on the agenda of topics to discuss. Different department heads will be present to give updates to the council as well.
The meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. CT.
