The Pulaski County Commissioners approved a proclamation involving the Memorial Swinging Bridge during their meeting Monday.
Chairman of the Veterans Memorial Swinging Bridge Greg Henry stated on July 3, 2023 they are rededicating the soon-to-be 100-year-old bridge. He asked the commissioners if they would designate July 3rd as Veterans Memorial Swinging Bridge Day throughout Pulaski County.
Chairman Henry stated they are inviting the public to attend the re-dedication being held at the Winamac Town Park beginning at 5 p.m. ET. He said more information is expected to come out on all activities being scheduled.
The commissioners entertained a motion to approve the proclamation. That motion was seconded and passed unanimously by vote proclaiming July 3 as Veterans Memorial Swinging Bridge Day.
