The Starke County Commissioners discussed contracts for the Starke County Economic Development Foundation (SCEDF) and the SCILL Center during their meeting Monday.
It was announced the Starke County Council had approved both contracts during their meeting last week. Starke County Attorney Justin Schramm said the council had approved the contracts as written with the understanding that financial reports would also be shared with council members going forward.
Starke County Auditor Rachel Oesterreich told WKVI News, the council approved the SCEDF contract in the amount of $89,480 per year for two years. The council also approved the SCILL contract in the amount of $70,000 per year for three years.
The Starke County Commissioners and the Council have both approved the SCEDF and SCILL contracts.
