A Talent Summit breakfast has been scheduled in Winamac next month.
The Community Foundation of Pulaski County and the Center of Workforce Innovations (CWI) have teamed up to to host the event. CWI has received funding under the NWI Forum READI grant program to invest in training and work experiences in specific communities.
CWI President & CEO Lisa Daugherty and her team will identify current workforce needs, challenges and specific strategies that CWI may be able to invest in to address Pulaski County’s employer and job seeker needs.
The CWI team will share labor market data relevant to Pulaski County and while holding discussion around barriers and potential solutions. They will also share different types of funding and services their organization has available to help employers and job seekers.
The summit will be held Monday, March 6 at 8 a.m. ET at Jack’s Celebration Station at 101 East Main Street in Winamac.
