The Knox City Council members heard an update on broadband during their meeting Tuesday.
Knox Mayor Dennis Estok reminded the council over a year ago they had approved Surf Internet to conduct studies and survey the city in hopes to install broadband internet. He added he is scheduled to meet with them on April 12 with Starke County Economic Development Foundation (SCEDF) Executive Director Lisa Dan.
Mayor Estok noted after the scheduled meeting, he hopes to have more information on when the project could hopefully move forward.
