The Pulaski County Commissioners were presented with a rental agreement during their meeting Monday.
Pulaski County Community Development Commission (CDC) Executive Director Nathan Origer stated the rental agreement is for the property at 117 East Main Street across from the courthouse. Origer stated this is the proposed location for the clerk’s office to relocate for the duration of the courthouse construction project.
Origer mentioned the terms in the rental agreement are month to month with no confirmed termination until they are ready to move the clerk’s office back to their new offices. He said rent will cost $600 per month plus utilities. He added the CDC budget will cover the costs until the county issues a bond, at which point the construction fund will take over responsibility and reimburse the CDC budget for expenses up to that point.
The commissioners entertained a motion to approve the rental agreement. A motion was made and seconded with the commissioners voting unanimously to approve the agreement.
