The Pulaski County Commissioners were updated on the Justice Center project during their meeting Monday.
Pulaski County Community Development Commission (CDC) Executive Director Nathan Origer informed the commissioners he has coordinated with Superior Court Judge Crystal Kocher and Tonn and Blank in regards to placement of new carpeting within the superior courtroom. He stated the carpet has been ordered and he expects it to be installed by the end of March.
Origer told WKVI News carpet for the Superior Courtroom was not originally part of the project. Origer mentioned that Judge Kocher asked for the carpet upgrade if there were funds in the project left over. It was said the carpet has not been updated since the 1990’s. Origer said left over funds were available and were used toward updating the Superior Courtroom’s carpeting.
