The Pulaski County Commissioners heard an update on the county highway garage during their meeting Tuesday.
Pulaski County Community Development Commission (CDC) Executive Director Nathan Origer said work is underway on the roof. He said Tonn and Blank began on Monday exploring with very little demolition. He mentioned they weren’t diving in to deep this week due to weather that could happen later this week but wanted the commissioners to know they are on site and have begun work.
It was mentioned in a previous meeting, the roof has been leaking for some time in several areas, with water causing damage to tiles and dripping into where government leaders currently hold their meetings.
The estimate from Tonn and Blank Construction to have the roof fixed came in at $211,320.
