The Knox Board of Public Works were given an update on the 18 South Main Street demolition during their meeting Wednesday.
Knox Mayor Dennis Estok stated they are not done with the clean up quite yet. He added the street department is still cleaning debris within the basement at the location. He stated there will be more city expenses toward finishing the clean up efforts.
Mayor Estok said he hopes by late spring they will have the location completely cleaned up and safe.
The building was destroyed by fire in June 2022.
