The Pulaski County Commissioners and Council were given an update on the Justice Center project during their joint session Monday.
Community Development Commission Executive Director Nathan Origer stated Tonn and Blank had completed installation of new carpet in the Superior Court Room recently. In a previous story, Origer told WKVI News carpet for the Superior Courtroom was not originally part of the project. Origer mentioned that Judge Kocher asked for the carpet upgrade if there were funds in the project left over. It was said the carpet had not been updated since the 1990’s.
Origer said left over funds were available and were used toward updating the Superior Courtroom’s carpeting.
