Knox City Council Approves First Reading of Amended Peddler’s Ordinance

The Knox City Council went over the first reading of the proposed amended peddler’s ordinance during their meeting last week.

Knox Mayor Dennis Estok told WKVI News the council further discussed changes to the current peddler ordinance. He stated the amendments to the ordinance include allowing food truck vendors to set up once per seven days. Vendors would have permit options of $10 per day, $30 per month, $150 for six months or $250 for the year.

Mayor Estok said the council approved the first reading unanimously by vote and intend to go over the second and final reading at their next meeting.
