The Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ are celebrating 100 years of having a presence in Donaldson, Indiana this month.
Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ Donor Relations Officer Jessye Gilley was on the WKVI Morning Show with Rich Wallen to explain what they are planning for their celebration. She stated there will be family activities for all that attend as well as food.
She added, “We have some delicious apple dumplings that are going to be handmade that day. We will have yard games, we will have an amazing balloon artist here. There will be some storytelling sessions and then for anybody interested in participating we have a celebration of the Eucharist from 2 to 3:30. You don’t have to be catholic. We would love to have you come out.”
The Celebration of the Eucharist will start at 2 p.m. ET on May 21 in the Ancilla Domini Chapel, followed by a variety of fun-filled activities. The event is scheduled to run from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. ET.
