The Community Foundation of Pulaski County recently awarded $27,500 in grants to local nonprofits and community organizations.
The Uptown Project received $10,000 for the second phase of the Chip off the Old Block project, Food Finders received $6,000 for the mobile food pantry in Pulaski County, the Boy Scout Troop #229 received $1,500 for the Summer Jamboree 2023, and the Center of Workforce Innovations received $10,000 for the WorkOne Winamac Youth Room and 2023 Resource and Opportunity Fair.
This year, Community Foundation of Pulaski County announced changes to the grant program, which established one application to cover all types of grant opportunities, including field of interest grants.
