The North Judson Town Council heard from Hope Restored Recovery Home during their meeting Monday.
In a previous meeting, Hope Restored Recovery Home was awarded $15,000 out of the Town of North Judson’s Opioid Relief Program.
Hope Restored Recovery Center is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization in Starke County. The organization is a faith-based recovery center that focuses on helping men who suffer from substance use disorder change their lives through structure and love. They offer a structured schedule, self-help groups, accountability and support, therapeutic programs and drug testing and monitoring.
Earlier in the year, representatives of Hope Restored attended a meeting seeking funds from the North Judson Town Council in order to purchase a new vehicle for the organization. This vehicle would be used to transport residents of the program to meetings, doctor appointments, job interviews, and work.
During Monday’s meeting, Hope Restored updated the council on their purchase of a new van. Pictures of the van were shown to the council as Hope Restored expressed their gratitude toward the Town Council for the funding.
