The Veterans Memorial Swinging Bridge in Winamac will be honored with a centennial celebration Monday, July 3.
The celebration will be held at the Winamac Town Park on Monday starting at 4 p.m. ET. Food Vendors and live bands will be on hand while a youth baseball and softball game will be held at 5:30 p.m.
The celebration also includes a re-dedication ceremony honoring veterans and gold star families at 7:30 p.m. A patriotic grand finale is scheduled for 9:45 p.m. with the ‘Lighting Our Legacy” at 10:00 p.m. where new lights installed on the bridge will be officially lit.
