The Oregon-Davis School Board viewed a presentation from JMA Architects involving their HVAC project during their meeting Monday.
Over the summer of 2022, the HVAC system at Oregon-Davis School Corporation underwent an analysis in order to understand what the operating needs were. In December of 2022, the school board approved the hiring of JMA Architects to provide professional architectural and engineering services for the HVAC Project at the Elementary and Jr./Sr. High School.
Superintendent Bill Bennett told WKVI News the corporation did not have as many contractors interested in the project as they hoped. During Monday’s meeting Bennett said JMA Architects advised the board to consider re-bidding the project. Bennett said the board as a collective decided to re-bid the project under the advisement of JMA Architects and hopes to have information sent out soon for contractors to bid.
