The Pulaski County Commissioners discussed their Asset Management Plan with United Consulting during their meeting Monday.
Pulaski County bridge 249 on County Road 250 South was listed at the top of the list for a total replacement. It was noted the county would be applying for a Community Crossings Grant in January with hopes to cover up to 75 percent of the total cost.
United Consulting stated they would like to start surveying the bridge within the next couple of weeks to be able to begin construction in 2024. They added the construction would be timed to not interfere with planting or harvest seasons.
A motion was made to approve the preliminary work by United Consulting for county bridge 249. That motion was seconded and passed unanimously by vote.
