The 2023 Bass Lake Festival is scheduled for this weekend.
Festivities get underway tomorrow with the Fishing Derby at 11 a.m. CT. The Sunset Kayak will take place at 7:30 p.m. with registration beginning at 7 p.m. CT. Saturday’s activities include a 5K run/walk, a car show, sailboat races, water volleyball, a watermelon eating contest, live music and a fireworks display over Bass Lake.
The festival wraps up Sunday, with a bike race, cardboard boat race, and the Bass Lake Festival Parade. This year’s grand marshal is Fred Heise.
