The Eastern Pulaski School Board approved meal prices for the 2023-2024 school year during their meeting Monday.
Superintendent Dara Chezem told WKVI News that all meal prices K-12 will stay the same as last year. The elementary breakfast will stay at $1.25 and lunch at $2.25. The Middle and High School breakfast will still be $1.50 and lunch stays at $2.50.
Superintendent Chezem stated the board was advised to raise meal prices but due to a positive balance in their lunch fund, the corporation qualified for an exemption this year. She added the board wanted to pass those saving on to EPSC families by keeping meal prices the same.
