The Eastern Pulaski School Board discussed a new program they will be offering families in their school district during their meeting last week.
Eastern Pulaski School Corporation (EPSC) Superintendent Dara Chezem told WKVI News the Ambassador Program will feature six sessions this fall where parents can learn more about what EPSC does. She added community members who are interested in participating in the program will need to complete an online application. She stated these six sessions will cover a variety of topics including school finance and budgeting, operations and facilities improvements, curriculum and instruction, student services and testing.
Superintendent Chezem stated the corporation is very excited to offer this type of hands on experience for EPSC families. She added 15 applicants will be chosen for each session that will run on selected Wednesdays throughout the fall semester.
The application deadline is August 31. Chezem says families that have applied and are approved will be notified in early September. If you are interested in attending the Ambassador Program visit here.
