The Knox Community School Board approved the hire of a new Athletic Director during their meeting last week.
Knox School Corporation Interim Superintendent Ross Sloat told WKVI News, Neill Minix has been hired to take over the corporation’s Athletic Director position. He added Minix has resigned as the high school girls basketball head coach in order to fulfill the requirements as an Athletic Director. He stated Minix’s first day was technically July 1 but was officially approved for the position during last weeks meeting.
Sloat also mentioned the search for a new girls basketball head coach is underway.
