The North Judson-San Pierre School Board reorganized themselves during their meeting last week.
The school board members voted to retain Derrick Stalbaum as president. Cameron Stalbaum was voted in as vice president and Sandy Kersting Rudd was retained as the corporation’s secretary.
The board also discussed the superintendent search. In a previous story, School Board President Derrick Stalbaum told WKVI News, Kelly Shepherd was hired as an administrative assistant to fill the void of superintendent duties while the board continues the process of hiring someone new.
Stalbaum stated the board had officially offered the job to one of two highly considered candidates and that individual had accepted pending a public hearing on the superintendent’s contract. The public hearing has been scheduled for Tuesday, August 8 at 6 p.m. CT in the Central Office Board Meeting Room at 801 Campbell Drive in North Judson.
