The Knox Community School Board held a public hearing on the superintendent’s contract during their meeting Monday.
In a previous meeting, the board approved an administrative contract for Greg Mikulich in efforts for him to become the next superintendent pending a public hearing and approval.
The proposed basic salary is $120,000 with the board’s contribution of health, vision and dental insurance costs, along with long-term disability insurance, term life insurance, tax sheltered annuity, and Social Security. The superintendent would receive 15 days of paid vacation per year, and 11 paid holidays.
The board opened the hearing for public comment with no comments given about the contract. The hearing was closed and the board announced they will have the hire of Greg Mikulich up for approval during their next meeting schedule Monday, July 24.
