The Starke County Council held a public hearing involving the Starke County Airport Authority budget during their meeting last week.
It was announced the budget for the Starke County Airport Authority totaled $1,862,941. The public hearing was opened to the public for comment with no comment given. The council however had several items to discuss with the Starke County Airport Authority. It was noted the council would like to be more involved with how their money is being spent and what it does in efforts to help the Starke County Airport.
Starke County Council President Dave Pearman commented he would like to have a member from the Starke County Airport Authority report to the council on a regular basis. He added the council would like to be more involved with the Starke County Airport Authority.
