The Knox City Council held a public hearing on their 2024 budget during their meeting Tuesday.
The council opened up the floor for public comment with no comments made.
According to the notice on the Indiana Gateway website, the total budget request is just over $4 million with just over $2.3 million in the General Fund, $50,000 in Local Road and Street, $460,000 in the Motor Vehicle Highway Fund, $175,000 in the Park and Recreation Fund, and other special funds as well.
The budget adoption is set for Tuesday, September 26 at 6 p.m. CT. at Knox City Hall.
