The Pulaski County Council discussed wage adjustments for the Sheriff’s and Highway Departments during their meeting last week.
It was announced the proposed increase would see anywhere from five percent to 25 percent for all Sheriff and Highway Department employees. Pulaski County Council President Ken Boswell entertained a motion to approve the wage adjustments.
A motion was made and seconded. The council passed the adjustments unanimously by vote. Pulaski County Auditor Laura Wheeler told WKVI News the Sheriff and Highway Department employees will see an increase in pay effective October 1 of this year.
