The Pulaski County Council met in special session Monday to discuss and review the 2024 budget, tax levies, and wages.
Pulaski County Community Development Commission (CDC) Executive Director Nathan Origer told WKVI News, the council discussed the 2024 budget and did not approve any new full-time positions. He went on to say the Human Services budget in the amount of $30,000 was approved. He stated the council tabled approving a request from the Pulaski County Community Foundation in the amount of $15,000. He said the council expressed they would like a clearer sense of how the funds if approved would be used.
The council also discussed proposed wage adjustments and the cost of living increase percentage for 2024 but made no decisions.
