Knox Mayor Dennis Estok urges business owners, church groups and non-profit organizations to get applications in for the Peppermint Parade scheduled for Saturday, December 2 at 3:30 p.m. CT.
Applications are available here and are due November 22. Late entries will not be accepted. There are no entry fees.
The parade will go down Main Street from the Knox Community School Corporation and end at the Nancy J. Dembowski Community Center. The Knox Concert Choir will be singing carols right before the tree lighting at approximately 5 p.m. CT outside the community center. Following the tree lighting, children will be able to meet with Santa inside the community center for pictures and to hear what is on their wish list.
