The Pulaski County Council had their 2024 budget up for adoption during their meeting Monday.
In a previous meeting, the Pulaski County Council held a public hearing on the proposed 2024 budget. In was announced the General Fund was advertised at about $9.5 million, the Highway Special Fund at about $2 million, the Local Road and Street at $240,000, the Motor Vehicle Highway Fund at about $2.5 million, the Cumulative Bridge Fund at $780,000, the Cumulative Capital Development Fund at $311,300, the Economic Development Income Tax (CEDIT) Fund at about $1.8 million, the LOIT B Public Safety County Share is about $1.4 million, and the American Rescue Plan Act Fund is at about $2.4 million. The council stated all funds listed totaled $26,597,113.
During their meeting Monday, Council President Ken Boswell entertained a motion to adopt the 2024 budget. A motion was made and seconded with the council voting unanimously in adopting the budget.
