The Starke County Commissioners considered an easement request from the Bass Lake Property Owners Association during their meeting Monday.
It was announced the Bass Lake Property Owners Association originally approached the Starke County Planning Commission in efforts to update their sign on Lakeside Avenue. The planning commission informed the association they would need to approach the commissioners for an easement request since the current sign is located on Starke County property.
It was noted the current sign would be replaced with a new sign and that it would be located in the same location on Lakeside Avenue. A motion was made to approve the easement request. That motion was seconded and passed unanimously by vote.
