The Knox City Council was updated on the amount of entries for this year’s Peppermint Parade during their meeting Tuesday
Knox Mayor Dennis Estok told council members there were 28 entries for this year’s parade. He added the city was very pleased with the turnout and is expecting this year’s parade to be well received.
The parade is this Saturday, December 2 at 3:30 p.m. CT. It will go down Main Street from the Knox Community School Corporation and end at the Nancy J. Dembowski Community Center. The Knox Concert Choir will be singing carols right before the tree lighting at approximately 5 p.m. CT outside the community center. Following the tree lighting, children will be able to meet with Santa inside the community center for pictures and to hear what is on their wish list.
