The Pulaski County Commissioners heard a courthouse project update during their meeting Monday.

Pulaski County Community Development Commission Executive Director Nathan Origer stated the Auditor’s and Treasurer’s offices will be moved to the East Annex on Thursday, November 16 and Friday, November 17. The Assessor’s and Recorder’s offices will be moved to the East Annex on Monday, November 20 and Tuesday, November 21. He stated the Clerk’s Office will be moved to 117 East Main Street in Winamac on Monday, November 27 and Tuesday, November 28.

Origer also stated preparations are underway at the Assessor’s Office in scanning documents so that they can be caught up on the vast collection of paper files the county has. In a follow up question, Origer told WKVI News each office being moved is expected to be moved back to their refurbished offices some time in the first quarter of 2025 after the project is complete.
