The Pulaski County Council discussed additional appropriations that need advertised during their meeting Monday.
Council President Ken Boswell announced the Community Development Commission (CDC) was budgeted for $47,000 in 2023. He went on to say the CDC requested that amount be increased. He added there has been more expenditures than what was budgeted. The amount the CDC requested was an additional of $75,000 for professional services.
Boswell then announced a second additional appropriation that needed advertised in the amount of $5,000 from the Pulaski County Prosecutor in regards to equipment.
Council President Boswell then announced additional appropriations that were already advertised from the Health Department and the Sheriff’s Department. The Health Department requested an additional of $10,000 from Cares Act for Contracted Services. The Sheriff’s Department requested an additional of $10,750 to Condenser Coil from the Misdemeanant Fund as well as $7,550 for a Sheriff Pension Fund correction.
A motion was made to approve the additional appropriations as advertised and the advertised additional appropriations as presented. That motion was seconded and passed unanimously by vote.
