The Pulaski County Commissioners discussed renewing the Purdue Extension contract during their meeting Monday.
Commission President Chuck Mellon announced the total amount to renew the contract is $68,765 for the 2024 calendar year. He added the money would come from Pulaski County and be given to the Purdue Extension for services of the extension educators. Commissioner Mellon mentioned the contract looked pretty standard to what they have approved in previous years. He added after speaking with Pulaski County Auditor Laura Wheeler. they expect that this is a small uptick from what the county paid this time last year.
Mellon entertained a motion to approve the contract with Purdue Extension. A motion was made and seconded. The commissioners voted unanimously to approve the contract.
