City of Knox Mayor Dennis Estok reminds pet owners to purchase and or renew dog tags for all dogs that live within the City of Knox for 2024.
During the City Council meeting on Tuesday, Mayor Estok said by purchasing dog tags, pet owners have the protection they need if their dog goes missing to hopefully be found and returned as quick as possible. He also encouraged pet owners to make sure their pets have current and up to date vaccinations as well. He went on to say dog tags can be purchased at the City of Knox Clerk-Treasurer’s Office for $5.00 during regular business hours.
In a press release from the Knox Mayor’s office, all dogs within city limits must have a tag and the ordinance is duly enforced. Knox residents have until Sunday, March 31 to update dog tags.
