The Pulaski County Commissioners were given an update on the Northwest Indiana Forum during their meeting Monday.
Pulaski County Community Development Commission Executive Director Nathan Origer stated the Northwest Indiana Forum is a regional partnership with Pulaski County that focuses on economic development and other services. He added it is through the forum that the county is able to apply for READI funds from the Indiana Economic Development Corporation.
Origer announced he learned last week that he had been appointed by the forum’s board to become the new chairman of the forum’s economic development committee. He went on to say this makes him an ex-officio member of the forum’s board and the executive committee.
