Indiana Communities Institute to Hold Listening Sessions in Pulaski County

The Pulaski County Commissioners heard an update from the Community Foundation of Pulaski County during their meeting Monday.

Community Foundation of Pulaski County Board President Kaye Beall reminded commissioners about the upcoming listening sessions to envision the future of Pulaski County. She stated they will be held this month and in June. She added the Indiana Communities Institute from Ball State University will be coming to Pulaski County to facilitate these community listening sessions. She stated they will be held for five consecutive Thursdays beginning May 23 and will be held in Winamac, Francesville, Star City, Medaryville and Monterey.

As previously reported, the Indiana Communities Institute will compile the information gathered at these events into a strategic visioning report that will be shared with the commissioners for their consideration in their work. Beall was at the meeting Monday to further encourage the commissioners to attend one of these sessions as well as encourage their constituents to also attend. She stated the Community Foundation of Pulaski County wants to work together with the commissioners and hopes they attend.
